As a Jewish woman, I’m proud to support many Jewish families with cultural understanding and dignity.
I founded Unique Care 8 years ago after seeing how rushed and impersonal care could be in larger agencies. Clients needed time, consistency, and real companionship. At Unique Care, we provide 1:1 support with a minimum of three hours per visit. You’ll always know your carer, and they’ll always know you.
But our hearts and hands are open to everyone — we support all adults, across all communities.
Contact us for a free chat where we'll get to know your needs, introduce you to a suitable carer.
Next step is to help you build a personalised care plan that suits your lifestyle to maintain your independence.
By increasing an individual's quality of life they can reduce any struggles to cope with daily life, both emotionally and physically.
We can then agree on an adult(s) in need of companionship, help with daily tasks, and/or motivation to live independently.
“We can’t speak highly enough of the exceptional care and support provided by Elizabeth, Debbie, and Monique at Unique Care […] they’ve gently transformed [our mum’s] weeks with thoughtful, engaging activities—taking her on walks in the park, making her lunch, and introducing her to social outings like chair yoga, Scrabble at the University of the Third Age, and regular lunches with her brother at his care home. What’s truly special is how flexible and proactive they are—nothing is too much trouble. Communication is seamless through a shared WhatsApp group, where they update us after every visit, often with photos. This simple system has brought us so much peace of mind.”

One of our clients was alone, feeling isolated and anxious so we were introduced to him and once trusted we became their carer. We visited them three times a week chatting over stories of companionship, sharing walks, books and stories. He also improved so much with his confidence became more active in the community and social – he enjoyed life instead of being depressed at home.
One of our beloved clients who passed away is now remembered with a memorial bench, donated in partnership with the MP for Barnet. It stands as a place of rest for others and a tribute to a life well lived.
Another client struggled to call family. We programmed her phone with simple shortcuts — 123, 124 — making life easier and more connected. These little touches make a big difference.
I needed some assistance after undergoing my second hip replacement within six months and Monique was recommended to me. She is kind, caring, reliable and willing to help in any way possible [...] instead of not wanting to face my morning routine I looked forward to it with Monique's help.
Monique's agency was personally recommended to us at a time when our family were struggling to cope with Mum's failing health [...] we found her support invaluable [...] Elizabeth spent the very last day of Mum's life with us - it was an honor and blessing to share that time with Elizabeth and I hope to never lose touch.
The place to go for real care and support sensitively tailored to the client. Unique Care have provided outstanding service to my wife Helen as she struggles with progressive debilitating disease. They will significantly add to the quality of life of her charges which puts their approach head and shoulders above the normally accepted standard for the industry.
Our team is dedicated, compassionate and driven by the belief that every person deserves to thrive, not just cope.
We proudly work with Jewish Care, Chai Cancer Care, Masorti Synagogue and Dementia Club UK and Masorti Synagogue – Dementia memory café
